Route 66 – Meteor Crater and Two Guns Arizona

Meteor Crater and Two Guns Ghost Town

We saw an airstream being towed across a dilapidated old Route 66 bridge into the 1920s section of Two Guns ghost town, where the family proceeded to boondock. I bet they enjoyed a spectacular sunset! I don’t think we’d try that in the big rig. “Adventure is out there!” Who said that?

Meteor Crater RV Park. Price was more than $30 per  night, but it was okay, with a nice lounge, laundry, book exchange and a few movies to rent. Meteor Crater and the ghost town are possible on same day, but us slow pokes split it up into two.
